Wow, glad to see you're still alive and kicking! I was worried you were going to vanish off of the face of the internets forever!

I love how sweet this picture this feels, I've been a big brother to a little sis for many years now and I know how it feels to get worried and overprotective!

Sometimes it's easy to forget the fact that Demisewan's hands are disconnected like that, when I first saw this picture I thought that her hands had been cut off and Harddense was bringing it back to her. I can be such a forgetful nut when I don't get my caffeine in the mornings!

In terms of crits, there's not much I can think of here. I like how Demiseswan's lipstick stands out so much from the rest of the monochrome. Using the same color for her skin as well as the shadows she's casting on Harddense feels a little strange to me; it's not necessarily bad, but it it does seem a bit awkward, at least in my opinion.

I'm surprised that someone actually read the comments, although less surprised that those who did all remarked about the same thing. Love psychology... Swadeaqua likes Vicebane since he was suppose to be her designated umm... play thing originally. He died, she never got the chance so she likes Mewblade as a twisted substitute. Mewblade doesn't like either of them. Vicebane is just a sick freak who delights in torturing things. Demisewan and Harddense got excluded from the weird "love triangle".

Kind of wish I put any effort into the picture. I'm glad to get some expression that are from my standard fare. At least they turned out okay and hopefully didn't need much explanation to make it obvious.

Yep, still here. Been working a lot and currently managing 3 monster projects. I'd like to get any of them done soon but just simply can't. And because I'm so determined to finish them all around the same date, I'm developing artist block for other work. This one for example became so tame in contrast to its intention.
I'm kind of glad my sibling isn't overprotective. I'm the eldest and we're too close in age to develop much more than competiveness. Got the twin thing when we were little, though. Sometimes it's weird to put that concept into my characters' relations.
Demisewan's paws are so fun to throw people off with. I knew someone would wonder what was going on with them. Although you were the one I didn't expect to do that. But normally I draw her paws quite closely to her arms, so it isn't obvious they're that deattatched. That would be a macabre picture to do based on the way you described it. Really funny sounding.
I desaturated the picture a bit, but Demisewan's lips are normally hot pink and if you got the 5 of them together, her lips stand out and so does Mewblade's belly/tail. The color is just insanely vibrant normally. At least with the color it brings more focus up to the faces. The shadow casts are reflections, since Harddense is metal. I was really lazy shading, so him being metallic is nowhere as obvious as it should be.

Yikes, I understand! Good luck getting those projects finished up!

Heh, my little sis is tough, she has handled the barbaric atmisphere of middle school pretty well for herself, so I've not had to be too protective much anymore.

I'm much easier to throw off when I've not yet had my morning dose of caffeine, which was the case here.

And leave it to me to forget that Harddense is reflective. Now THAT's just a bit more than me being a spacey morning dope.
