Violation by Vaporeon249 Violation by Vaporeon249
Most of the time I showcase Swadeaqua as sexual, seductive and confident, and not a victim. When a Mewthree awakens their dazed brain tries to assemble into whatever they were programmed to be. All the other Mewthrees' programs/designs were respected, but hers was not. The person responsible made her into a shell, where sexual cravings, thoughts and experiences were suppose to be the "norm", and this trampled on her programmed notions of love, intimacy and companionship. Swadeaqua had her heart broken within hours of greeting the world, having equated her first sexual encounter to love, and not knowing why she felt so empty inside, all that she was used, not cared for, and too immature to understand what had happened. Deep inside, she's just a little kid. It may seem like I blame Swadeaqua for her nature, but it always came down to the bastard who programmed that part of her. She never was able to fight it and the programming won out, the ultimate violation to any potential she could have had.

Anyway... For the actual art, did a sketch, scanned and lined in Illustrator. This picture was definitely the art of layers and texturing and while I wish the water effects were a bit more obvious, I love being able to use my visual knowledge and play with reflections properly. Think the 3D rendering I've been doing has helped with that, but I believe my texturing capacity is starting to improve, finally.

(This image makes me miserable... If Mewthrees aren't messed up enough as is, there always seems to be more ways to mess them up further.)

Illustrator CS5, Photoshop CS4

I have several Mewthrees, because of that they're all given names. So her species is Mewthree, and her name is Swadeaqua.

The line art was the first thing I noticed to be different here. But I love how you have done this. I'm still trying to figure out how to make water (and not only that but liquids) look more realistic. You did a great job on the tiles and the water. I like this.

Liquid is probably something you can pull off really well as this used a lot of layers. In this case the water was a Multiply layer at 33% opacity with Effects > Bevel and Emboss turned on. Screened White at 75%, Multiply Black at 11%. Global light source, and a size of 5. Depth was something like 100. Otherwise, grabbing "finished" layers, duplicating them, and flipping/rotating them in the appropriate direction followed by erasing out the unnecessary stuff and adjusting the reflections transparency works. But basically if you made say, a puddle of oil, reflections are almost enough to get away with it.
And thank you.

Not all that much, especially with the currency difference. I think it's around 27,000 zloty a year or something but given my situation, I'd rather a job than no job at all.

It's a shame she can't control herself, I definetly feel sorry for her.

But their's one thing I can't get my head around about this picture; why on earth have you drawn her breasts so big? I don't recall them being that big, any bigger and they'll most likely develop a gravitational pull if she's not carefull.

Sorry, had to get that out of my system.

Because her left arm would be pushing against them and they have to go somewhere, whether outwards or up. But darnit. Someone caught on to that.

Artistically this is an amazing picture. Drawn beautifully and the water effects are superb. Emotionally it's excellent as well. I can see her pain.

My only complaint, and it's not a big complaint, is her leg anatomy. Mewtwo legs have always been a bitch.

I double joint the knees on them so I can get away with the leg things... but going off of a basic Mewtwo design, you wouldn't be able to get these poses, and it vexes me too.

I can't believe I'm saying this but...I feel sad for Swadeaqua... *me and Julia give huggles* She needs a hug!

Once again, beautiful work andan amazing way to evoke emotion with just the image and a single word, I hadn't even needed to know the scenario to deduce a need of hugs before reading the notes. That's the mmiracle of your skill, beyond being an amazing artist, you always know how to both show and evoke emotions.

I usually don't feel sad for her, since her being a controlling psycho is part of her default nature. She's still nasty, but her major personality flaw was not originally in the design. Probably would have meant that she would have successfully captured Mewblade, instead of the end result.
Unfortunately I don't evoke my capacity to draw emotions as often as I like. I had plenty of practice in my comics, but in actual pictures it's pretty weak. ThePiachu's joke is basically that I draw the same three emotions: Serious, calm and stoic. And he's kind of right. I usually go for subtle. (Slight upturn of the bottom lip, in this case, is more common in pained expressions.) Then again, crying in showers basically is one of those easy concepts to get the point of sadness across.
She really needs a hug and someone to talk to.

The pose, the emotion, the nature, the description, all of this picture is so epic, I actually cringed at the image at first since Swadeaqua is one of my favorite Mewthrees of yours and I see her as strong and sly and cunning and never one to be weak.

I truly love this picture though, it is so deep, and shows us a glimpse into the secret part of Swadeaqua that I never thought I'd see.

The image made me cringe all the way through the process. It's raw, and something that doesn't come up much in my gallery, especially for a character like this. I'm glad the image has a capacity to reach out as it does. It's all too easy to mess up on it.
