Commission - Fine Subtleties of War by Vaporeon249 Commission - Fine Subtleties of War by Vaporeon249
(If you like this picture you can commission me here [link] .)
(And if you want to read the novel she is from, you can also buy a pretty hard copy here [link] )

$20 Full Color commission with background (although I charged $15 for it, since he's a friend) for Kaos-X [link] . Still going with the KriegsMaiden theme, we have a sexy wallpaper of the most vicious of all TaoKa ladies, Julia Makai.

I was given three wallpaper ideas to choose from, and of course chose the most challenging which involved the battle scarred Julia being all playful and sexy on a T-28 tank. Completely fell in love with the idea, but outright struggled to figure out how to make good image balance and actually draw such a large weapon. Things like the wine and the master ball are imagery pertaining to her, that and she's somewhat of a war mongering sex kitten. Think I depicted her well in the end, muscle and boobs and all.

Amazine work. I love the way the wine is splattered all over her.

He mentioned something involving wine, so I took it to a further level.

For those curious, the 'Phunbaba' is a term meaning 'Warrior Angel' in the TaoKa language. Meaning she's not only an alien[from another planet] but also a literal earthbound angel, meaning she's technically already dead.

I think VLK already knows fully well my opinion of the piece[love it!], so I just felt like making that clarification. And the T-28 in question is NOT the Russian tank of the same designation, but the American tank DESTROYER, just to clarify so any rivet counters don't start getting cheezed off. We've both had to handle one before.

On a side note, I knew the color pattern would look unusual, but I rather adore the steampunk-esque look the TD has with it, and it rather fits the KriegsMaiden's generally 'Steampunk VS Cyberpunk' aesthetic going on with the setting.

Edited the description. Was following the massive list I got a few months ago. I'm such a dolt.
And there are such things as rivet counters. The exist in every realm, and I hate them so much. Of course, if I got it wrong and am commissioned to get it right then well, all I can do is agree with them.
Black and red weren't exactly bad color choices considering those should work well with Julia. Although if these are basically sniper tanks, I'm sure a big blob of black on the dunes is just a little to noticeable.
