Full Color Speed Paint commission for Psytrin of Fur Affinity of his characters Danny and Amelia, facing off.

Different process for this picture again. Not something I do, but an exception was made for the delightful Psytrin. Instead of Livesteam, we did the Log-Me-In and Skype method. More or less had the references, and was given the idea and Psytrin watched with a few pointers in-between. Basically as we have it, the two are facing off in what was inspired by the Pokemon gym challenger screens in the later games. Because this was a quick image (about 4 hours), then the style to go with it is less line heavy and much less anime-like than what is usual for the work I do for him, then again, it was no less vibrant. I'd almost never let someone watch me paint from scratch (especially since he saw the first half of the process) since I can never get over how initially sloppy everything looks, and around him, he was just so relaxed and pleasant that honestly something that was worth the new experience.

Really pretty digital paintings. If this is the speed paint version i want to see what you can do with your usual timespan. The guy reminds me a bit of those avatar people.

The irony is, if I had done this in my usual time frame it would be probably more detail, but less vibrant, and more anime-like.

Hehe. I might have to commission you sometime, I've got a feline alien species I am currently working on making more alien and slightly less furry without losing the qualities I'm looking for, I'll have to prod you sometime :3

I'm not the one who designs these though. Psytrin commissions an artist on Fur Affinity called Fydbac who specializes in such intricate designs, and thus where all the references come from.
